My new high school is the coolest place ever. It is also one of the best high schools in the nation. Seriously, I think that I'm going to love Stuyvesant.
Today, I went to the open school thing from 4:30 to 6:30. I was given a brief summary of each club and team in the school. Because of someone's urging, I joined the bowling team. I admit, bowling is fun, but I'm pretty bad at it. I also joined the community service club because my mom made me. I was also thinking of joining fencing. It looks fun.
That's it, I guess. Oh yeah, my iPod nano froze... no way to solve it except to let the batteries die out.

Whoohoo! Stuyvesant, here I come!
I can't believe that I actually got in with a 643 scaled score. Seriously, wasn't last year's cut-off like 670 or something? Even my friend, who got around a 570, was accepted.
Anyway, I've become excessively obsessed with Grand Theft Auto. Yes, I know it is a bloody and violent game, but when I saw my friend play it on his PSP, I couldn't help but give it a try. Turns out that there is more to this game than I thought. Suddenly, before I knew it, I was playing for 5 minutes+ each day. In fact, today, I played for a total of at least 20 minutes! I never knew such a violent game could captivate me and keep me from leaving.
On a different note, there's that Chinese New Year performance tomorrow. I have to perform a magic show. Ack... I have no idea what to say. I only have 2 tricks so far, and another which I'm not certain I can do. Sigh...
I've started playing Maple Story again. Now, I have found an easy and cheap way to get what you want. It's called BasilMarket. It's sort of a Maple Story eBay. You bid on an item, and if you win, trade it in-game. It's very complicated, but cool.
I wonder if I'll get any rewards other than the iPod nano that my mom gave to me. Maybe... a CD? I always wanted Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard. Maybe a game for my XBox? I got one just 2 months ago... Eh, who knows.

Today was one of the funnest school days ever. Half of the class was part of the war. The great Rubber Band Bow War of I.S.72. It was crazy! Pieces of paper were flying around, due to the elasticity of the rubber band. As I type, I am making bullets for the next class war.
Let me explain: about 15-20 people participated in this war. They each carried at least one rubber band and loads of ammo. There weren't really any teams; people just shot at whoever was in the war. You take a strip of paper, fold it into a tiny sliver of paper, fold if in half, and let it fly with your rubber band. Just like archery. The bullets hurt like hell, though. Wait a minute... there was teams. Nobody cared, though. It was really fun... I can't wait until the prom at June. I think there's going to be a huge war. Well, the same people, but bigger area. Anyway, I'll explain the teams for the sake of making this post longer. Of course, we limited the attacks so the teacher wouldn't notice. Only my LA teacher noticed.
Period 1+2: Free For All Period 3: FFA Period 4: My 4 friends and I VS. a whole row of Asians (I wish I was in this group...) Period 5: Lunch. Production stage (building of bullets). Period 6: My side VS. Other side of classroom. Period 7: My table VS. Other table VS. Other table. Period 8: FFA.
In my opinion, period 8 was the funnest. In the beginning, my language arts teacher decided to play a joke on my Period 8 social studies teacher. We threw pieces of paper everywhere in the classroom. While everyone was distracted, we had a large battle. At the end of the period, it was another battle.
I hope that on Monday, we can have another war. Today was an amazingly fun day. When I came home, I played Battlefront 2 and watched Full Metal Alchemist (a new anime I'm starting).
Chinese school tomorrow... blech.

Today, I received a letter about a national math award. It's called the USNMA, or the United States National Mathematics Award. However, when my parents and I looked around on the 'net about this, I saw something that said that it was a scam. I have no idea now whether it is real or something to get information out of. Can anyone help me if they also got this "award" or something like it?

I'm Ichigo, eh? Whoot! I get Zangetsu! Zangetsu owns! Zangetsu bankai owns!
Happy New Year! What a fun year it has been! I've done so many things. I took the SHSAT, started watching Naruto and Bleach, stopped watching Naruto, saved the world (just kidding), and many others. Now a new year has come upon us all (except for those outside of earth). Anyway, here are my New Year Resolutions (© 2006 by frozendelinqent [also known as Leo]) -Get into a good High School -Get a Bleach/Naruto game -Get PSP -Get Rich Or Die Trying (BLAHHHHHHH YEAH RIGHT) -Get rid of acne -Massacre demons of hell (aka Hannah, Sarah, etc.) -Get good grades on test -Pass Math and ELA statewide exam -Become a shinigami (reference to Bleach, lol) -Lose weight -Get a good final average
What else? Meh... I forgot. ^^
Once again, happy new year!

You know.... I never really understood Hoth. It's supposed to be a planet covered in snow and ice, but...
It sounds like someone saying "hot" with a tongue stuck in a water bottle.
Another one of those short and meaningless entries.

Yay! Christmas is here! I'm so excited! .... Whatever. I'm 3 days late, anyway... Last saturday (December 24), my family and I headed out to Washington, D.C. The trip took about 4 hours. We were staying at a friend's house, so that I could get presents at Washington, D.C. I also brought my Xbox. When we got there, I was greeted by my mom's old friend and her 4-year-old daughter. She was scary.... she kept following me the first day and asking me to hug her. Seeing that I had no choice, since my parents were watching and she was little, I reluctantly agreed. Next, she asked me to fight my sister! I think I'm scarred for life....
When Christmas Day finally came, I was very excited. However, I woke up at around 7, and had to wait until 10 for the other kids to wake up. This is what I got for Christmas: -Star Wars: Battlefront 2 -Halo 2: Multiplayer Map Pack -A wallet... -A sweater -2 wireless Xbox controllers -And an atlas.
I played BF 2 the whole day. In fact, I played it so much, that I couldn't eat dinner. I was dizzied by the revolving camera in the game. I went to sleep with a throbbing pain on the left side of my head.
Over the next two days, I went inside Washington D.C. for some sightseeing. On the first day, I went to Lincoln Memorial, the White House, Capitol Hill, and the National Air and Space Museum. I'm too lazy to describe the in-depth. On the second day, I went to the National Zoo. I saw lions, tigers, and a giant panda bear. Oh, my! The next day, we went home. The end.
Well, I've taken an interest in a new anime other than Naruto. It is called.... Sodium Hypochlorite. Just kidding. It is really called Bleach (reason unknown) and it is the best anime ever! It is also the bloodiest one. I didn't mind the blood, since it was drawn, but if it was real, I wouldn't have watched this. One of my favorite characters is my new icon. Because of my attraction towards this anime, I joined a Bleach community, caleld all_for_bleach. I can finally (hopefully) have more than just a friend read my LJ!
That's it. Happy holidays!

I changed my avatar. It has something to do with owls and Naruto. Yeah, that's right. Owls. If you can't see it, here's the big version:

What? Can't someone have freedom of photoshopping wierd images?
I decided on a tentative Christmas list. Here it is: >Star Wars: Battlefront 2 >Xbox controller >Xbox Live
That could change, however. I know that I will get BF 2 and maybe the controller, but I don't know about Xbox Live.
I also made another animation. Here it is:

This has been a hell of a weekend. A hell of a weekend indeed.
On Thursday, as I have said, I went to New Jersey.
On Friday, I got an iPod nano. That evening, LingTian and Eric came over and brought a GameCube. We played Super Smash Bros. Melee for about an hour, then Custom Robo (which I sucked at), and finally, Tales of Symphonia. I have to admit, that game is awesome. I spent 3 hours playing it with them. It's the best RPG ever. You can actually attack by yourself, instead of taking turns! Anyway, they left at about midnight.
On Saturday, I had breakfast, lunch, and my mom made me practice the piano early. At 1:00, we went to LingTian's house. Eric was there (again). We started Tales of Symphonia and stopped at about 3:00. Then we went to the movies and watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It wasn't that great. They took out the beginning, the World Cup, and changed a lot of stuff. It was okay, I guess.... After the movie, we went home and played... you guessed it, Tales of Symphonia. I got totally addicted to it. Then we had a dinner consisting of chicken legs, beef, and nachos dipped in cheese before we went up to play ToS AGAIN. It was around 11:00 before we got bored of it and started SSBM. We played that until around 2:00, and I went home... Sigh... memories...
Today wasn't that great. I did homework, projects that were due tomorrow, and some other stuff. What a normal Sunday!
Remember the Clearasil thingy I bought? IT DOESN'T WORK! 3 days passed.... still no change. What am I doing wrong? Am I using too much? TELL ME! I don't want to live my life looking like an ugly... dot-head!
Fine, I'll google it...

Yay! Thanksgiving Day sale! Today, my mom gave me her iPod nano and my dad bought me the new Fall Out Boy C.D. (From Under the Cork Tree). I'm listening to "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" right now.
I also got an acne medicine thing. Clearasil Ultra: Cleans acne in 3 days - Guaranteed! It stings a bit....
Anyway, I hope that by next Tuesday my acne will clear up. My classmates will look at me and go, WTH? And my parents will go, WTH? also. And my friends that are not in my class or school will go, WTF?
Yesterday, I spent the whole day in New Jersey. At about 10:00 AM, my family and I left to go to some baby's house for a Thanksgiving lunch. It was fun, I guess... There was a baseball bat, so I practiced sword-spinning and stuff. Like the spinning in Star Wars. My parents' friend, who was a martial artist (I think) taught me some staff-spinning. I hit myself like 5 times. One in each ear, one in my knee, and 2 in the arms. After lunch, we went to another house for the thanksgiving dinner. There was a punching bag in the basement, so I punched it a bit. My sister tried to show off by hitting it really hard and trying to make a large noise. I called her a weakling. It was really boring at that house.
I'm going to go to piano class in about 5 minutes. Gotta go, bye.

Today, I received the results of a math contest my class took last Thursday. The test was really freaking hard. But I still liked it. According to the results, my school was just 2 points shy of the 1st place school. In the nation. Can you believe that? Being the 2nd-best-school in math IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY! I was really schocked. Some school in Indiana beat us by 2 points. My teacher also said that I, among about 10 other students, was in the top 100 of the nation. That's pretty cool. Normally I would'nt like these type of tests, but since the prize for top student is a trophy or a certificate, I started to get a little interested in it. The next part of the test, which is on December 1, will be dominated by my school. I promise! You suck, Indiana!!
Today was of no interest. It was the same as usual, except that we had a test in science and a quiz in health. My social studies teacher got ticked off by our class' chattiness and assigned us 45 minutes worth of homework. Not fair... I wasn't even talking. But, as my SS teacher says all the time, "Life's not fair."
Happy One-week-early Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it. I have Thursday and Friday off next week, so, as my math teacher always says, "Don't wait for the yellow bus next Thursday and Friday." =P

Yay! I rock! I got the highest report card grade I ever got (and the lowest gym grade)! For all those who want to know my report card grades, here they are!

Language Arts - 98 Social Studies - 98 Math - 98 Computers - 97 Science - 98 French - 95 Gym - 85 Health/Hygiene - 95
Overall - 96.2
Anyway, I made two Flash animations. One makes fun of Star Wars Episode III and the other is just stupid. The High Ground Falling Dude
I didn't work very hard on them, so don't expect them to be awesome... I'm going to make an animation of a big guy stepping on a little midget (coughDAVIDcough).

P.S. These smilies are the property of www.narutohq.com.

Happy Halloween for those who celebrated this great holiday! The only bad thing about this is that we don't miss school, but we shall rejoice and bask in the glory of chocolate candy!
Ok, I'm done raving now.
I went trick-or-treating with David and like 4 of his other friends. David was a priest, and I was, yet again, Anakin. I got a whole bagload (i wish) of candy. It was awesome (the candy, not the trick-or-treating).
Anyway, I got a new hobby. Besides all those MMORPGs I play, I am now starting to watch Naruto. It's this really cool Japanese anime (no adult themes, I hope...) that consists of a 12-year-old named... well, look at the title. There are curses, though, so I shouldn't watch it in front of my parents. Then again, it's in Japanese, so they wouldn't understand anyway.
Oh, god... I just spent an hour doing my Chinese homework. It was HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE, I TELL YOU! Plus, I had to study for the (bleep) test.
I'm bored...

Today was Literary Day at my school. Every 8th Grader had to dress up as a character from a work of literature. I picked Anakin Skywalker. Yes, I am addicted to Star Wars... my costume was so stupid. It consisted of a Jedi robe with no sleeves, a belt, and my old ninja costume from 2 years ago. I also had a fake, plastic blue lightsaber that broke. Anyone got some krazy glue? Anyway, during Language Arts period, we walked around the floor into 6th and 7th graders classes and had to explain who we are and a brief description of the character. I totally messed up. I said,"I am Anakin Skywalker. I...uh... was good, turned bad, and then turned good again. Yeah...."
At 7th and 8th period, the whole 8th grade went into the gym to have a Literary Day dance. I didn't do anything. People wanted to see my lightsaber though, and I had to hide away somewhere. I wanted to have a lightsaber duel with my friend, who was a Sith and a better lightsaber than me, but the assistant principals and teachers were supervising. It was really boring. No food, no drinks, and no fun, except for the dancers.
Tomorrow I have to go back to Chinese school. Damn. Well, better than Saturady and Wednesday test prep. But still, 2 hours of torture (and 1 hour of drawing)! I would rather... *thinks of test prep* no wait, I'll take Chinese school.

Yay! No more practice tests! No more Ivy Prep! No more Saturday/Wednesday tutoring! No more... wait, I think that's it.
I think I did pretty well on the test. I know I aced the Math and Logic section, but I probably got 1 or 2 wrong on the scrambled paragraphs, and around 5 wrong on the Reading. But, I noticed that many (if not all) the people in the room chose Staten Island Tech as their first choice. Hopefully, all the nerds will choose Tech, so that the Stuyvesant cut-off will be lower.
Then again, miracles happen rarely.
I'm getting bored of Maple Story. My mage has been standing motionless in Ant Tunnel 1 for a month. I think I may start Neopets again or something. Or maybe I'll start learning Flash. The possibilities are endless... *sigh*
I seem to be cursed with mouth sores. A week ago, I developed a sore on the roof of my mouth. Now, it went away, but then I got a more annoying one just below my tongue. Ugh...
Today's weather was 55 degrees, overcast.

The SHSAT test is tomorrow. Hopefully, I will make it into either Stuy of SI Tech. I will be very happy if I get a spot in Stuy. Partly because it is the best school in the country, partly because my friends are going there (well, 2-4 of them. That's enough, isn't it?), and partly because I get an iPod nano from my mom.
Today, I went on a trip to a bowling center. It was really fun. The lights were off, except for flashy colorful lights dancing around on the bowling lanes. The radio was blaring out music. And I had two slices of pizza for lunch. But, I swear, that place is cursed! When one of the bowling balls came up out of the gutter, it squeezed my finger between another ball. And just 10 minutes later, I dropped a ball on the same finger! Luckily, it wasn't too high up...
I was the 2nd worst on my team of 6 people. I was one of two or three people who didn't get a strike, which, is when you knock down all the pins in one move. I did a something, which was knocking the pins down in two moves.
Just for the sake of making my LJ look longer, i'm posting the lyrics to my favorite song...
"Just the Girl"-- The Click Five She's cold and she's cruel But she knows what she's doin' She pushed me in the pool At our last school reunion She laughs at my dreams But I dream about her laughter Strange as it seems She's the one I'm after
[Chorus:] Cause she's bittersweet She knocks me off of my feet And I can't help myself I don't want anyone else She's a mystery She's too much for me But I keep comin' back for more She's just the girl I'm lookin' for
She can't keep a secret For more than an hour She runs on 100 proof attitude power And the more she ignores me The more I adore her What can I do? I'd do anything for her
Cause she's bittersweet She knocks me off of my feet And I can't help myself I don't want anyone else She's a mystery She's too much for me But I keep comin' back for more She's just the girl I'm lookin' for
And when she sees it's me On her caller ID She won't pick up the phone She'd rather be alone But I can't give up just yet Cause every word she's ever said Is still ringin' in my head Still ringin' in my head
She's cold and she's cruel But she knows what she's doin' Knows just what to say So my whole day is ruined
Cause she's bittersweet She knocks me off of my feet And I can't help myself I don't want anyone else She's a mystery She's too much for me But I keep comin' back for more
Cause she's bittersweet She knocks me off of my feet And I can't help myself I don't want anyone else She's a mystery She's too much for me But I keep comin' back for more Oh, I keep comin' back for more She's just the girl I'm lookin' for Just the girl I'm lookin' for
I'm lookin' for I'm lookin' for I'm lookin' for Just the girl I'm lookin' for

You know what I hate? I hate it when my parents scold me just because I got lower than MB on the SHSAT test, when it's impossible to pass her anyway!
Anyway, I wonder if a 40 on Verbal and a 48 on Math could get me into Stuy? My parents think that I have little chance of getting in just because I don't show any sign of wanting to get it. No sign? 88? ...why me?
I have another practice test today, and another one tomorrow, at Hell. I mean, Ivy Prep. Seriously, that is the dirtiest, smallest test prep place I have ever seen! Worst of all, we have to sit there for 5-6 hours... with nothing to eat!
